7:00 am: Our private cab with an English-speaking driver will reach at your specified location in Patna and pick you up for a scenic, fun-filled, and seamless ride to Kathmandu. This ride will be around 9-10 hours as we will cover a distance of 347 km to reach Kathmandu from Patna. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and get rid of the harassment of the long journey.
9:00 AM: After your fulfilling breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight to Pokhara. Upon landing, you will be transferred to your hotel. It will take just 30 minutes to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu by flight.
11:00 AM: After check in, rest a bit and then get ready to enjoy your half-day of sightseeing in Pokhara. Today, we will cover most of the cultural and natural spots of Pokhara. Our first stop is going to be the majestic Davis Fall, also known as Patale Chhango among locals. Experience the compelling flow of water from the hills and watch them vanish as it hits the bottom.
The Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is going to be the second spot on our list and it is just a stroll away from Phewa Lake. Lose yourself in the intriguing passageway of the cave and offer your prayers at the statute of Lord Shiva in the cave. We will then hit the roads and travel for another 15-20 minutes to reach Bindhyabasini Temple. Feel the spirituality and calmness pleasing your soul and offer your prayers as then will move to the last destination of the day; Phewa Lake.
Davis Fall
Out of the many waterfalls in Nepal, the Davis Waterfall is the most famous one. It is known among tourists for its strong stream of water hitting the bottom like a hammer and then disappearing into the tunnels like it was never there. The waterfall got its name after a Swiss woman drowned in the waterfall but because of pronunciation issues, the waterfall became Devi’s waterfall.
Gupteswhor Mahadev Cave
Stretching to a length of 2,000 meters, the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is one of the longest caves in Nepal, and just 40 meters into the cave you will see a beautiful statue of Lord Shiva. Once inside the cave, you can easily hear the thundering water coming from Davis Falls as the cave is located just on the other side of the waterfall.
Bindhyabasini temple
This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagvati, a popular deity among Hindus and is referred to as Shakti. For western Nepal, the temple is considered as one of the most important shaktipiths. Goddess Bhagvati is an incarnation of Goddess Durga, the chosen guardian of Pokhara city and that’s why the temple holds religious importance amongst locals as well.
Phewa Lake
A still and serene lake that reflects the mountain range in its clear water while offering a spectacular visual delight of the landscape around it. You can also go for a boat ride and paddle your way through Phewa Lake while enjoying the marvel of nature at your speed. The Tal Barahi Temple is also located on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake.
5:00 AM: If you wish to witness the most spectacular show of nature, you must wake up early on the 3rd day of the tour. Early in the morning, we will head towards the Sangarkot sunrise viewpoint from where you will witness a sunrise that will last in your memories forever. The sun slowly peeks from the laps of the mountains with the sky changing its color and mountains coming back to life, the entire opera of nature can become one of the best moments of this entire tour. Take some pictures, enjoy the moment, and then head back to the hotel for breakfast.
11:00 AM: You will be transferred to the airport and flown back to Kathmandu. Our Kathmandu sightseeing will kickstart from Kathmandu Aiport only. Upon arrival, you will be directed to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We will spend half a day around Bhaktapur. Explore the heritage and culture of Nepal in the square and relive the era of kings and queens. There are many restaurants and cafes around the square and you can have your lunch there.
3:00 PM: After your Bhaktapur exploration, you will be escorted back to your hotel. You will have a leisurely evening in Kathmandu and you can use it to visit the local market and go for an enthralling shopping spree.
10:00 AM: This day will be desiccated to Kathmandu Sightseeing. Your private cab will reach at your hotel and then we will kickstart our full day of Kathmandu exploration. All the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites will be covered on this day.
Our first stop of the day is going to be Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site. Offer your prayers and seek blessing while praising the beauty of the temple. Then, stop by our second destination; Boudhunath Stupa, just 4.3 km from Pashupatinath Temple. The stupa holds a lot of religious significance among Buddhists and the shape of the stupa is a treat to the eyes. Enjoy your visit to one of the largest stupas in Nepal and then we will continue our Kathmandu exploration with a visit to Swayambhunath Temple, also known as Monkey Temple. This temple attracts both Hindus and Buddhists alike.
5:00 PM: After a full day of Kathmandu exploration, you will be escorted to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the local markets like Thamel and buy local items.
Pashupatinath Temple
Dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, the god of animals. It is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites and it has got enticing architectural beauty. This is the main reason why this temple is visited by both pilgrims and tourists alike.
Boudhunath Stupa
With the width surpassing 100 meters, the Boudhunath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in Nepal and is the most sacred site for Buddhists. Outside Tibet, it is the holiest religious Buddhist site. The main stupa of this spot was built somewhere around 600 AD and it still rules the horizon.
Swayambhunath Stupa
This stupa is almost 100 meters wide and 40 meters tall and the mesmerizing architecture of the stupa attracts thousands of tourists every day. It is said that a tour of Nepal is never complete without a visit to Swyambhunath Stupa.
7:00 AM: We will get back on the roads to reach Patna. Upon arrival, our driver will bid you farewell and that will be all for the 5 days of exciting tour in Nepal.
