Boudhunath Stupa

According to the locals, the stupa was built back in 600 AD, making it one of the oldest stupas in Nepal. This was the same time when the Tibetan king embraced Buddhism. This is the main reason why this stupa holds so much importance and is visited by Buddhists from all around the world.

Swayambhunath Stupa

This is one of the finest UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. The entire place is adorned with prayer flags and surrounded by statues and stupas. The place is also inundated with monkeys and that’s how it got the name ‘Monkey Temple’.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

Janaki Temple
